Chanel 06A 2006 Fall Collection black washedvelvet jacket with removable chain belt woven with heavy velvet. This collection has some pieces with the shiny lightweight fabric. In this jacket it is used as lining. There are 3 zipper pulls, each with a "CC" logo for closure, and for each of the two pockets on the jacket front. There are also 3 big silver decorative snaps with "Chanel Paris" around the rim. The heavy silver metal chain belt is woven with thick black velvet, having the effect of a chain but a lighter weight. It goes through two long 1" wide enclosed "tunnels" (like a rod pocket curtain) to hold the belt in place, around the bottom of the jacket. The front zipper from the bottom to the shoulder is 1/2” braid of black satin ribbon edged with thin shiny silver cording. It is all rather spectacular!
This belt is completely detachable and can be worn separately with other outfits. Belt measures up to 38". This jacket is in Chanel's very deep navy which is interchangeable with black, and in fact looks much more like black than navy.
